Elza Lovoid Decker, age 81, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Thursday, (March 11, 2010) at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, KY.

He was born on October 7, 1927 in Grayson County, KY, the son of Hubert Lee and Gertie Mae Stevenson Decker. He was a retired house painter and was of the Pentecostal faith.

He is survived by his wife Ruth Carroll Decker of Leitchfield; three sons, Robert Lovoid Decker (Janie), Lambert Carroll Decker (Margie), and Gilbert Lee Decker all of Leitchfield; one brother Hilman Lee Decker of San Antonio TX; four sisters Vernese Wilson of Providence, KY, Freda Hack of Leitchfield, Edwina Clark of Big Clifty, and Jerlean Basham of Breckinridge County; four grandchildren Shawn Decker, Jody Decker, Brittany Nicole Decker, and Elijah Decker: one step grand son Jamie Meredith; five great grandchildren Kerstyn Decker, Kaleb Decker, Haley Carlock, Ashlee Carlock, and Zane Decker; and two step great grandchildren Ashby and Sydney Rice. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister Veronica Doolin.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, (March 14, 2010) at 1:00p.m.at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Billy Hack will be officiating. Burial will be in the Sanders Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Saturday from 9:00a.m. until 9:00p.m., and after 9:00a.m. Sunday until time of service at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield.
