Emmett Pharris Jr., age 61, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Saturday (June 16, 2007) at Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center.
He was a member of the First Apostolic Church of Millwood, a truck driver for Fed X, a member of the Caneyville Sportsmen's Club, a 1964 graduate of Caneyville High School & a US Army veteran.
He was born on December 18, 1945 in Leitchfield, KY, the son of Emmett Sr. and Biddie Opal Beckort Pharris.
He is survived by 1 daughter Dianna Lawson of Louisville, 1 son Darren Pharris of Caneyville, 3 grandchildren Drew, Andrea, & Nicholas, 1 sister Emma Stapleton of Leitchfield.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday (June 19, 2007) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville with Bro. George Langdon officiating with interment in the Apostolic Church Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville from 12:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday and after 9:00 a.m. Tuesday.
