Emmett Lee Shaw, age 69, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Thursday, (May 30, 2019) as a result of an automobile accident.

He was born on May 3, 1950 in Grayson County, KY., the son of the late Creed and Dorothy Young Shaw.

He was a farmer who enjoyed being with his family. He was a member of the Leitchfield Masonic Lodge #236. And he attended Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Connie Shaw; sons, Jeremy Stevenson (Tabitha) and Jason Stevenson; grandchildren, Blake, Mason, Layla, Waylon, and River Stevenson.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, (June 3, 2019) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Austin Wade will be officiating. Burial will be in the Hopewell Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday and from 9:00 a.m. Monday until time of services.

A Masonic service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday (June 2, 2019).
