Emory Haycraft, age 92, of Leitchfield, KY passed away Wednesday, (December 6, 2006) at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield.
He was born on September 8, 1914, in Grayson Co., KY, the son of Jack and Flora Meredith Haycraft. He was a retired farmer and construction worker and was a member of the Mulberry Flats United Baptist Church.
He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Ralph and Judy Haycraft of Leitchfield, three brothers, Elvis and Marshall both Louisville, KY, and Delmer Haycraft of Leitchfield, one sister, Roberta VanMeter of Leitchfield, 10 grandchildren and several great grandchildren, including Colton and Ashlynn Haycraft. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ambrose, two daughters, Norma Hack and Patricia Marshall, four brothers, Carlie, Hillman, Sherman and Herley Haycraft and
three sisters, Ethel Pearl, Pauline Oneal and Evelyn Petty.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday (December 9, 2006) at the Mulberry Flats United Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Mulberry Flats Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday and from 9:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Saturday.
