Erma Decker, age 83, of Horse Branch, Ky. passed away Tuesday August 25, 2009 in Horse Branch. She was born August 9, 1926, the daughter of Ed and Anna Rhea Crume Carmicheal. She was a housewife and a member of the Shiloh Methodist Church, and the Rosine Community Choir.

She is survived by two daughters, Dianne Balling, of Louisville, and Melea (Paul) Lambert of Horse Branch, two grandsons, Scott ( Catherine) Balling of New Orleans, LA, and Jonathan (Amanda) Lambert of Horse Branch, one great grandson Brycen Lambert of Horse Branch, and two sisters, Tinsa Robinson of Stanley, and Wilma Bratcher of Louisville. She was preceded in death by her husband Dude Decker.

Funeral services will be held Friday August 28, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville with Bro. Mike Taylor officiating with interment in the Yeaman Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville 4-8 p.m. Thursday and after 9:00 a.m. until time of service Friday.
