Obituary
Ernest G. Durbin, age 74, of Leitchfield KY, passed away Saturday, (April 11, 2009) at his home.
He was born on April 16, 1934, in Grayson Co., KY, the son of S. B. and Mary Leona Miller Durbin. He was a retired truck mechanic.
He is survived by three brothers, James E, of Clarkson, KY, Saint Bernard Jr. of Salem, IN, and Lee Durbin of Elizabethtown, KY, five sisters, Mildred Clark of Lebanon Junction, KY, Kathleen Von Allmen, Nellie Kidd, Elsie Sullivan and Mary Diebew all of Louisville. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Lawrence, Ed and Edmond Durbin and three sisters, Ethel Goodwin, Nancy Jo Jenkins and Ann Rochelle.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. (April 14, 2009) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Edward Cockriel will be officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday and from 9:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of services.
