Ethel Frances Croghan, age 101, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Saturday, (July 9, 2016) at the Grayson Manor in Leitchfield.
She was born on July 29, 1914 in Hart County, KY, the daughter of the late William Dart and Trecie Frances Alvey Bratcher.
She was a housewife, who enjoyed cooking, sewing, quilting, flowers and especially spending time with the family.
She is survived by two sons, Richard Croghan (Clara) of Caneyville, KY and Carlos Croghan of Leitchfield, five daughters, Eunice Siefert (Doug) of Deputy IN, Virgiline Coats, Julie Piercy and Carolyn Graybeal (Sonny) all of Leitchfield, and Susie Gibson (Delmer) of Louisville, 22 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great grandchildren.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Croghan, 2 great grandchildren and a brother, Clevie Bratcher.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, (July 13, 2016) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Cecil Williams will be officiating. Burial will be in the Cub Run Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday and from 9:00 a.m. Wednesday until time of services.
