Obituary
Eugene Shain, age 78, of Caneyville, KY, passed away Friday, (April 29, 2011) at his residence.
He was born on March 3,1933 the son of Fred and Rocie Woosley Shain. He attended the Primitive Baptist Church.
He is survived by one sister Imogene Tidwell of Caneyville, two nieces Georganne (Anthony) Clark, and Eugenia (Jeff) Elmore both of Caneyville, seven great nieces and nephews Jessica ( Tony), Sarah, Ashlyn, Megan, Dana, Mattie, Kevin, one great great niece Brooklyn, one uncle and three aunts. He was preceded in death by one brother Freddie Shain, and his parents.
Funeral services will be at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday (May 03, 2011) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville. Elder Dwight Dyer will be officiating. Burial will be in the Deweese Cemetery.
Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday and from 9:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of service.
