Evelene Geary, age 76, a resident of Grayson Manor of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Tuesday, (July 27, 2010) at the Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, KY.

She was born on September 24, 1933 in Grayson Co., KY, the daughter of the late Clinton and Nellie Lindsey Bratcher. She was a housewife and was a member of the Clarkson Baptist Church.

She is survived by one son, Tim Geary (Jenny) of Leitchfield, a granddaughter, Samantha Geary and a great-grandson, Bradley Harrell both of Leitchfield, one brother, Glendon Earl Bratcher of Heyworth, IL, four sisters, Emogene Oller of Leitchfield, Mormadeen Martin of Olaton, KY, Jodi Graham of Louisville, KY, and Marti Markus of San Diego, CA. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dexter, and two brothers and a sister, Troy, James and Hazel Bratcher.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday (July 31, 2010) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Chip Collins will be officiating. Burial will be in the Clarkson Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday and from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until time of services.
