Evelyn Ray Dowdy , age 75 of Rosiclare, Illinois. passed away Thursday October 27, 2011 at the Rosiclare Health & Rehab Center.
She was born on April 25, 1936, the daughter of Charles Everett & Grace Alta Suits Clark. She was a retired machine operator at a sewing factory.
She is survived by 1 daughter Pamela Kay Jones of Rosiclare, Illinois, 3 sons James Woodcock, Everett Woodcock & Charles Osman all of Caneyville, 2 sisters Alta L. Jackson of Illinois & Diane Allen of Tennessee, 12 grandchildren & 22 great grandchildren, several nieces & nephews.
Funeral services will be Sunday, October 30, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville, with interment in the Woodcock Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville, Saturday from 7:00 until 9:00P.M. CDT and after 9:00 – Sunday, until time of service.
