Obituary
Evelyn Wallace, age 92, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Sunday, (April 18, 2010) at her home in Leitchfield.
She was born on September 14, 1917, in Grayson County, KY, the daughter of Charles Anderson and Pearlie Mae McCormick Young. She was a Florist and a member of the Leitchfield United Methodist Church.
She is survived by five children, Virginia Elliott (Jim), Wilma Charlton (Bert) of Louisville, KY, Frank Wallace Jr. (Sissy) of Indiana, Nancye Hansen (Dick) of Leitchfield and Pat Overfelt (Terry) of Louisville, two sisters, Jean Worley and Lois Givens both of Leitchfield, one son-in-law, Bob Johnson of Louisville, 13 grandchildren and several great and great great-grandchildren survive.
Her husband, Porter Franklin Wallace Sr., and one daughter, Mildred Johnson preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday (April 21, 2010) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Darrell Lyons will be officiating. Burial will be in the Layman Cemetery.
