In loving memory of Flora Agnes Autry Hicks

Born May 14th, 1937, in Rosine KY.

Our Granny Dean was welcomed to her heavenly home on September 25, 2023, where she was greeted and reunited withher loved ones. Waiting for her was her mother and father Archie Autry and Dumie Hicks. Her husband and two daughtersClifton Hicks, Patrica Embry, and Cindy McDaniel. Two Grandsons Timmy Hicks and Jonathan McDaniel. Her siblingsFreddie, Johnny, and Aline.

She is survived by her brothers Kenny, Randall, and Eddie. Her six grandchildren Amanda (Jeremy)White, Anna Joe (Josh) Milam, Samantha McDaniel, Jeff (Jamie) Hicks, R.d (Ashley) Embry, Andrea (Daniel) Mudd. 22 great grandchildren and 4 great, great grandchildren.

Granny Dean was a member of White Ridge Church where she made many memories, friends, and most importantly gave her heart and soul to the Lord.

Granny thought dearly of her beloved friends Ronnie and Trica Butler, Janice White, and Joan Farris

She enjoyed her animals, especially her dogs who kept her the most company. She liked to spend time going to yard sales, thrift stores, fishing, mushroom hunting, and church functions.

She was known to tell jokes, even inappropriate ones and would always be the best distraction during stressful times. She never failed to bring light out of bad situations.

Granny Dean will passionately live on through her loved ones and their memories.

Funeral Services will be at 2:00 pm Friday (October 06, 2023) at Dermitt Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rosine Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm on Thursday and from 9:00 am Friday until time of services.

Romans 14:8 For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die; we die unto the Lord: Whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.

2nd Corinthians 5:8 We are confident, I say and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
