Florence Elizabeth "Flo" Hardin, age 87 , of Caneyville, KY, passed away Wednesday, (March 2, 2022) at her home.

She was born on October 28, 1934 in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, the daughter of the late Frank and Elizabeth Kebesso Dressler.

She was a seamstress who enjoyed bowling and gambling, especially on the gambling boat. Flo was an unforgettable person and full of life. She and her husband, Walter, was a huge influence on the neighborhood boys. They became "our boys". She married Walter Hardin on July 13, 1973. She was a member of the Catholic faith.

She is survived by her husband, Walter Hardin of Caneyville; four step-children, Amanda of South Carolina, Walter Jr. of Nebraska, Toni Lynn and Tammy Kay, both of Louisville, KY. Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, (March 5, 2022) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Father Tony Bickett will be officiating. Burial will be in the Layman Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday and from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until time of services.
