Obituary
Fordie Hudson, age 92, of Caneyville, KY, passed away Saturday (March 21, 2009) at the Morgantown Care and Rehab Center.
She was a housewife, and a member of the Wilson Home General Baptist Church. She was born on March 12, 1917, in Butler Co. KY the daughter of the late Mac Marion and Ellen (Lacefield) Swift.
She is survived by one son, Darrow and Bobbie Hudson of Caneyville, two grandsons, Dewayne of Morgantown, and Darren, of Caneyville, one granddaughter, Diana Turner of Millwood, four great grandchildren, Leigh Ann, Kolton and Konnor Hudson, and Jordan Turner. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Rodney Hudson.
Funeral services will be Monday at 2:00 p.m. (March 23, 2009) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville. Bros. Leonard Embry and Randell Deweese will be officiatiing. Burial is in the Layman Memorial Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville from 4:30 - 9:00 p.m. Sunday, and 9:00 am. Monday until time of service.
