Frances Elizabeth Decker, age 79, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Saturday, (January 31, 2015) in Louisville, KY.
She was born on July 24, 1935, in Iberia, KY, the daughter of the late Harvey and Elsie Logsdon Williams.
She was a homemaker, who enjoyed gardening, cooking, (especially fried apple pies and fried chicken), and ironing everything (with starch of course). She was always working and keeping busy. She loved her family. Elizabeth enjoyed visiting different churches, and attended the Clarkson Community Church.
She is survived by her sons, Warren Decker (Diania), and Wayne Decker; brother, Fairley Williams (Georgie), all of Leitchfield; three grandchildren, Bro. Curtis Decker (Melissa), Brad Decker (Christina), and Kim Paul (Jeremy); eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Thomas Decker; five brothers, Layman, Herman, Elroy, and Johnie Williams, and an infant brother, Lawrence.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, (February 3, 2015) at the Dermitt Funeral Home. Bro. Curtis Decker and Bro. Jeremy Paul will be officiating. Burial will be in the Bill Newton cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday and from 9:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of services.
