Obituary
Frank Carthel Escue, age 64, of Falls of Rough KY, passed away Monday, (June 1, 2009) at his residence.
He was born on May 14, 1945, in Denmark TN, the son of the late James and Annie Pruitt Escue. He was a retired district supervisor for Meade County Rural Electric and a member of the Corinth Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Judith Pryor Escue of Hardinsburg, KY, one daughter, Susan (Jeremy) Hinton of Harned, KY, one son, Scott Escue (Heather) of Prattville AL, his granddaughter, Madeline Escue, six brothers, Alvin of Milan TN, Vince and Nolan both of Leitchfield, KY, Harvel, Clifton and Qulin Escue all of Falls of Rough, two sisters, Martha Ann Schmitzerle of Leitchfield, and Carolyn Fugate of Falls of Rough.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Lloyd Escue.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 1:00 p.m. (June 4, 2009) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Harry Dooley will be officiating. Burial will be in the Duff Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm Wednesday and from 10:00 a.m. Thursday until time of service.
