Joint Funeral services for Frankie Cockriel Meredith (burial), age 67 and her son, Kevin Meredith (Cremation), age 42, will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday (July 10, 2010) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Wayne Clemons will be officiating. Burial will be in the New Freedom Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 4:00p.m to 9:00 p.m. Friday and from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until time of services.

Frankie of Leitchfield, KY, was born on April 13, 1943, the daughter of Roy and Bessie Hayes Cockriel. She passed away on July 5, 2010 in Louisville, KY. She was employed at Wal-Mart. Kevin, born on August 24, 1967, passed away on July 3, 2010 in Louisville, KY. Survivors include Kevin's son and Frankie's grandson, Ryan Hodges of Elizabethtown, KY, Frankie's three sisters and one brother, Shirley Milliner and Kathern Hazelwood both of Louisville and Doannie Coates of Indiana and Bro. Edward Cockriel of Leitchfield. Kevin was preceded in death by his father, John Robert Meredith and Frankie was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister, Thomas Cockriel and Lizzie Mae Brooks
