Obituary
Franklin "Billy" Morgan, age 88, of Falls of Rough, KY, passed away Wednesday, (January 26, 2010) at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield, KY.
He was born on September 5, 1921, in Short Creek, KY, the son of Clarence and Grace Robinson Morgan. He was a World War II and Korean Veteran, a retired firefighter for the Louisville Fire Dept., a member of the Falls of Rough VFW # 3852 and the Leitchfield American Legion and was a member of the Corinth Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Lois Simmons Morgan and several cousins.
Cremation was chosen and a memorial service will be Saturday at 2:00 p.m. (January 30, 2010) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon Saturday until time of service.
Expressions of sympathy can take the form of donations to the Diabetes Foundation.
