Franklin "Frank" Eugene Stone, age 74, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Tuesday, (July 24, 2007) at the Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY.

He was born on November 24, 1932, in Jordan, IN, the son of William and Margaret Shafer Stone. He was a retired heavy equipment mechanic.

He is survived by his wife, Jeanette Stone, three daughters, Connie Hardesty (Wilbur) of Union Star, KY, LaDonna McCrady (Ricky) of Leitchfield, and Debbie Ann Lawyer of Illinois, one step-daughter, Debbie Sue Denham of Edmonson Co., KY, two step-sons, Gary and Larry Pridemore both of Indiana, two brothers, Danny of Hyden, KY and Gary Stone of Indiana. He was preceded in death by a son, David Stone, two sisters, Aileen Stone and Mary Lou Pickett, and a great grandson, Christopher Daniel Hardesty. Also surviving are several grandchildren, step-grandchildren, great grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday (July 28, 2007) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Rodney Hopper will be officiating. Burial will be in the Sanders Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 12:00 noon to 9:00 p.m. Friday and after 9:00 a.m. until time of service on Saturday.
