Obituary
Freeman Embry, age 67, of Caneyville, KY, passed away Sunday (September 20, 2009) at the University Of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, KY.
He was born on January 11, 1942 in Butler County KY, the son of Stoy and Lucille (Brooks) Embry.
He was a member of the Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Georgia Ann (Heavrin) Embry; one son, Chad Eric Embry; and his mother Lucille Embry, all of Caneyville. He was preceded in death by his father, Stoy Embry, and his grandparents, Taylor and Nannie Embry.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday (September 24, 2009) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville. Bro. Dale Barnes will be officiating. Burial will be in the Layman Memorial Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday and after 9:00 a.m. Thursday until time of service.
