Obituary
Gayle Allen Ferguson, age 61, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Friday, (May 22, 2015) at his home in Leitchfield, KY.
He was born on April 17, 1954 in Grayson County, KY, the son of the late Vernon and Deloris Helson Ferguson.
He graduated from Leitchfield High School in 1972. He was a certified volunteer firefighter at Anneta Fire Department, where he served for 15 years. He was a member of the Anneta United Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Edie Day Ferguson, a son, Toby Dale, a daughter, Jessica Marlene, grandchildren, Leigh-Ann, Rebecca, Cole, Landan, Elizabeth and unborn grandchild, Jessica, two brothers, Mike Ferguson (Laurie) of Ellsworth, WI and Greg Ferguson (Linda) of Leitchfield, KY, five sisters, Mary Lou Duvall (Damon) of Houston, TX, Debbie Scott (Thomas) of Roundhill, KY, Beverly Eaton (Lawton) of Glasgow, KY, Nedra Lindsey (Jerry) and Sheila Johnson (Rex) both of Leitchfield.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Monday, (May 25, 2015) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Earl Day will be officiating. Cremation will follow.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday and from 9:00 a.m. Monday until time of services.
