Obituary
George Henry Montgomery, Jr. (JR), age 43, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Saturday, (January 16, 2016).
He was born on September 29, 1972 in Breckinridge County, KY, the son of George H. Montgomery, Sr. and June Newton Adcox.
He was a cook in various restaurants. He enjoyed horseback riding, and loved his dog, Kalo. He was a member of the Calvert Community Church.
He is survived by his two sons, Elijah and Alex Howard; his father, George H. Montgomery, Sr.; mother, June Newton Adcox (Wesley); sister, Libby Sutton (David); niece, Rachel Sutton, and nephew, Colton Sutton; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Eva Mae and Claude Newton, and Hazel and Gene Montgomery.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, (January 20, 2016) at the Calvert Community Church in Breckinridge County. Bro. Joe Blanton will be officiating. Burial will be in the Hudson Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Calvert Community Church on Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and from 9:00 a.m. Wednesday until time of services.
