George Tommy Langley, age 64, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Thursday, (February 18, 2010) at his residence.
He was born on January 19, 1946, in Jefferson Co, KY, the son of Joseph Lloyd and Dora Deane Cannon Langley. He was a retired CEO of Citizens Bank, a former member of the Leitchfield Rotary Club, and a former Lions Club member. He was a member of the St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Clarkson.
He is survived by his wife Linda Snapp Langley of Leitchfield; one son Kent Langley (Magaly) of San Rafael, CA; one daughter Whitney Hornbeck (Josh) of Big Clifty; two brothers, David Langley (Joyce) of Leitchfield, and Steve Langley (Wanda) of Pleasantview, TN; four grandchildren, Miles, Nolan, and Neely Hornbeck, and Oliver Langley. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Lloyd and Dora Deane Cannon Langley.
Funeral services will be Monday at 1:00p.m. (February 22, 2010) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Rev. Marty Hayes will be officiating. Burial will be in the St. Elizabeth Cemetery. There will be prayer service on Sunday night at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 1:00p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, and from 9:00 a.m. Monday until time of service.
