Gerald Eugene Maiden, age 75, of Horse Branch, KY, passed away Saturday September 12, 2009 at the Professional Health Care in Hartford.
He was born on December 30,1933, in White Run, Ky. the son of Ethel and Alma Ferguson Maiden. He was a farmer.
He is survived by 3 sisters, Wretha Proffitt of Caneyville, KY, Macel Hayden of Dayton, Ohio and Freda Ford of Horse Branch, 3 nephews, Kenneth Proffitt, and Joe & Paul Hayden, 4 nieces, Mary Baker, Debbie Faber, Carol Haven & Rita Ford. He was preceded in death by 1 sister, Charlene Beatty.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Monday September 14, 2009 at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville. Bro. Terry Tarrence will be officiating. Burial is in the Ferguson Cemetery.
