Obituary
Gerald Ignatious White, age 79, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Tuesday, (March 10, 2009) at Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield, KY.
He was born on September 15, 1929, in Clarkson KY, the son of Charles Harvey and Olga Leone Grant White. He was a retired truck driver for Sullivan-Cozart, a Korean War Army Veteran and was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Jane McClure White, four daughters, Thelma Faye White of Bowling Green, KY, Rita Gail Davis of Marshall, TX, Mary Kathryn Graham (Harold) of Elizabeth, IN and Martha Elaine White of Hendersonville, TN, five brothers, Charles Hubert of Leitchfield, Lionel David of Louisville, KY, Julian Randolph, Clay Thomas and Glenn Fredrick White all of Clarkson, four sisters, Olga Ann Roach of Indiana, Mary Nan White and Patricia Sue Campbell both of Clarkson, and Martha Nell Meyers of Raleigh, NC, four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 10:00 a.m. (March 14, 2009) at St Joseph Catholic Church with Father Randy Howard officiating. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery. Prayers will be Friday Night at 5:00 p.m.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 11:00a.m. to 9:00p.m. on Friday.
