Obituary
Geraldine "Jeri" Keane, 91, passed away at her home in Leitchfield, KY on October 24, 2017.
She was born on April 21, 1926 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of the late John and Adelaide Grube Croke. She made her home in Lindenhurst, IL for 45 years before moving to Lockport, IL and then to Leitchfield, KY.
She worked for Illinois Bell and AT&T, and retired in the 1980's.
She is survived by her two daughters, Mary (Al) Beljaeff of Wisconsin and Suzanne (Keith) Corbin of Leitchfield, KY.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick, and brothers, John(Evelyn), Richard (Kay), and James (Mary Catherine)Croke.
Visitation was held on Tuesday October 31, 2017 at the Ringa Funeral Home in Lake Villa, IL, followed by a procession to Prince of Peace Catholic Church for 11:00 a.m. Mass.
Burial followed at Windridge Memorial Park Cemetery in Cary, IL.
Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield, KY was in charge of local arrangements.
