Geraline Sharp Lush, age 88, of Clarkson, passed away Saturday, (August 31, 2024) in Louisville, KY.

She was born on August 15, 1936 in Grayson County, KY, the daughter of the late Willie and Zeda Spencer Sharp.

She retired from working at Brown and Williamson Tobacco Company after 36 years on the line and in the warehouse. She loved her horses and donkeys. Her favorite thing was mowing and working outdoors.

She is survived by her son, Rick Lush and his wife, Debbie, of Louisville; her brother, Lindell Sharp, and her sister, Alta Duff; two grandchildren, Ricky Lush (Christa) and Carrie Dicken (Nick); and four great-grandchildren, Kylie, Ryder, Maci, and Emerie.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, James Sharp and her sister, Patsy Priddy.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, (September 5, 2024) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield.  Burial will be in the Old Lone Oak Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m. Thursday until time of services.
