Gertrude Martha Hughes, age 93, of Clarkson, KY, passed away Wednesday, (March 2, 2022) as a result of an automobile accident in Clarkson, KY.

She was born on June 29, 1928 in Wales, Austria, the daughter of the late Rudolph and Roseann Reisenberger.

She was a member of the Leitchfield Christian Church.

She is survived by three sons, Don (Lisa) of Illinois, Rob (Bridgette) of Leitchfield and David Hughes (Debbie) of Louisville, KY, six grandchildren, Scott Hughes (Brandy), Becky Cobb (Will), Troy Hughes (Lauren), Kyle Hughes (Kelsie) Austin Hughes (Micaha) and Jessica Nincehelser and thirteen  great-grandchildren.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Hughes and a brother, Herman Reisenberger.

A private graveside service will be held at Walnut Hill Cemetery.
