Obituary
Gertrude Shartzer, age 81, of Louisville, KY, passed away Saturday May 29, 2010 at Norton's Audubon Hospital in Louisville.
She was born on June 30,1928, the daughter of James and Nancy (Payton) Barton.
She is survived by one daughter Kathleen Roberts of Louisville, two granddaughters, Christine Von DerAhe of San Diego, CA, and Wendy McMullan of Floyd Knob, IN, three great grandsons, Steven and Zachary Von DerAhe, and Nathan McMullan. She was preceded in death by her husband James Claud Shartzer.
Funeral services will be Wednesday June 2, 2010 at 3:00 P.M. at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville with Bro. Mike Cannon officiating with burial in the Layman Memorial Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville after 11:00 A.M. Wednesday until funeral time .
