Obituary
Gladys D. Stone, age 93, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Thursday, (July 26, 2007) at her residence.
She was born on March 10, 1914, in Grayson Co., KY, the daughter of Lonnie Clinton and Ada Eskridge Edwards. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Stones View United Methodist Church.
She is survived by one son, Earl Stone of Leitchfield, two grandchildren, Mark Stone (Trisha) of Leitchfield and Melissa Gibson (Travis) of Clarkson, one step grandson, Thomas Carroll of Leitchfield, four great grandchildren, Abbey, Colton, and Ella Gibson and Conner Stone, and several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Percy, one daughter, Joetta Stone and a brother, Lovall Edwards.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday (July 29, 2007) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bros. Delmar Williams and Ed Dermitt will be officiating. Burial will be in the Leitchfield Memory Gardens.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friday, from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Saturday and after 9:00 a.m. until time of service on Sunday.
