Obituary
Glendell Lee Joyce, age 76, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Friday, (September 30, 2011) at the Hosparus Inpatient Pavilion in Louisville, KY.
He was born on January 1, 1935, in Big Clifty, KY, the son of the late Roy and Hallie Spencer Joyce. He was a retired clerk from the FSA, a member of the Grayson County Soil Conservation Board, and was a member of the Mt. Zion Christian Church.
He is survived by his wife of fifty-four years, Susie (Cain) Joyce of Leitchfield; two daughters, Teresa Langley (Rudolph) of Leitchfield, and Rhonda Joyce of Elizabethtown; one brother, Billy Joyce (Nell) of Big Clifty; and several nieces and nephews.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, and one brother, Bobby Joyce.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday (October 3, 2011) at the Mt. Zion Christian Church. Bro. Tim Dennis will be officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Zion Church Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday and from 9:00 a.m. Monday until time of service.
