Glenna Sue Whobrey, age 72, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Friday, (August 12, 2022) at Grayson Nursing and Rehab in Leitchfield, KY.

She was born on June 19, 1950 in Leitchfield, KY, the daughter of the late Marion Jr and Jewell Wilkins Farris.

She was a legal secretary and also volunteered at the Owensboro Health Twin Lakes Auxiliary. She enjoyed going to auctions, spending time with her grandchildren, playing bunco and spending time with her friends, especially with the Golden Girls. She was a 1968 Graduate of the Caneyville High School. She was a member of the New Harmony United Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Whobrey, two daughters, Kimberly Keys (Stephen) and Charlotte Whobrey both of Leitchfield, four grandchildren, Austin and Dalton Penner and Nathan and Ryan Keys, one great-grandson, Harlan Penner, one brother, Bill Farris of Leitchfield and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 12:00 noon Wednesday, (August 17, 2022) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Garry Watkins will be officiating. Burial will be in the New Freedom Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday and from 9:00 a.m. Wednesday until time of services.
