Glossie "Flo" Risner McKnight Gaskins, age 78, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Friday, (March 25, 2016) at Springview Health and Rehab in Leitchfield.

She was born on October 21, 1937 in Salyersville, KY, the daughter of the late Earnie and Ina Hensley Risner.

She was a retired bus driver who enjoyed gardening and listening to gospel and country music and attended the Clearview Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, Paul McKnight III of Elizabethtown, KY; three daughters, Tammy Meredith of Leitchfield, Candy Bird (Steve) of Millwood, KY, and Teresa Bush (Tim Higgs) of Hudson, KY; two step-children, Gregg Gaskins (Tammy) of Leitchfield and Kristi Powell (Buddy)of Hickman. KY; seven grandchildren, Mitchell King (Tonya), Michael King (Nellene), Brandon Gaskins, Timothy Higgs, Joshua McKnight (Charlotte), Crystal McKnight, Brittany Bird; eleven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Paul B. Risner of Bainbridge, OH and Wallen Risner of Mansfield, OH; a sister, Darlene Blackman also of Mansfield, OH.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters and six brothers.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, (March 30, 2016) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Chester Shartzer will be officiating. Burial will be in the Vol Layman Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday and from 9:00 a.m. Wednesday until time of services.
