Obituary
Grace W. Meyers, age 94, of Caneyville, KY, passed away Friday, (August 13, 2010) at the Baptist Hospital Northeast in LaGrange, KY.
She was born on November 11, 1915, in Ready, KY, the daughter of the late Arthur and Emma Peach Woodcock. She was a retired cook for Grayson County Hospital, a member of the Caneyville Eastern Star and a member of the Caneyville Christian Church.
She is survived by one daughter, Leyvone Embry of LaGrange, three sons, John (Sue) and Bill Meyers both of Louisville and James Meyers of Panama City, FL, a son-in-law, Bob Johnson, of LaGrange, KY, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Neil Meyers and a daughter, Barbara Jo Johnson.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. (August 18, 2010) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville. Bro. David Brown will be officiating. Burial will be in the Layman Memorial Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and from 9:00 a.m. Wednesday until time of service.
