Obituary
Gracie Marie Stewart Hunt, age 88, of Caneyville, KY, passed away Friday, (August 13, 2010) at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield.
She was born on December 16, 1921, in Butler County KY, the daughter of William and Myrtle Johnson Baker. She was a housewife and a member of the Welchs Creek Baptist Church.
She is survived by three sons, Rev. Edward Dewey Baker (Norma) of Caneyville, Rebus Stewart (Kaye) of Big Clifty, KY, and Reedious "John" Stewart (Renee) of Caneyville, two daughters, Judy Embry (Ronnie) and Dean Farris (Russell) both of Caneyville, nine grandchildren, three step grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, seven step great grandchildren and one step great-great-granddaughter. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands, Clarence Stewart and Roscoe Hunt and a daughter, Donna Marie Hayes.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday (August 15, 2010) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville with Bro. Gary Woosley officiating. Burial will be in the South Union Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Saturday, and from 9:00 a.m. Sunday until time of services.
