Gregory Allen "Slim" Manning, age 60 , of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Sunday, (October 9, 2022) at his home.

He was born on October 12, 1961 in Louisville, KY, the son of Mary Jo Arnold Manning and the late Scoot Manning.

He was a truck driver for Hometown Hauling and an avid hunter who loved going to the beach, spending time outdoors and playing with his grandchildren. He attended Potter's Hope.

He is survived by his wife, Diane Swift Manning of Leitchfield; a son, Gregory Allen Manning Jr. of Louisville; two bonus children, Vanessa Pullen (Aaron) of Falls of Rough, KY and Joseph Embry (Samantha) of Caneyville; three    grandchildren; Jackson & Addalyn Pullen and Marshall Embry; three sisters, Susan Abbott (Riccardo Moon), Glenda Lehmann, Cheryl Hawkins (David) all of Louisville; a brother, Galen Manning (Stacy) also of Louisville and his mother, Mary Jo Manning of Louisville. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than his father, he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law Scott Lehmann.

Funeral services will be at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, (October 13, 2022) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Wayne Clemons and Bro. Steve Mahurin will be officiating.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. Thursday until time of services.

Friends and Family are invited to wear their favorite Carhartt clothing to the service in Slim's honor.
