Obituary
Hallie Mercer, age 90, of Hardinsburg, KY, passed away Saturday, (August 14, 2010) at Medco of Hardinsburg, KY.
He was born on September 18, 1919, in Hudson, KY, the son of the late Gid and Fannie Cahill Mercer. He was a retired mechanic and painter, and was a member of the Trinity Full Gospel Church.
He is survived by one son, Randal Mercer (Diana) of Leitchfield, and several nieces and nephews. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Clara Mercer, three brothers, Willie, Lee, and Russell Mercer, and three sisters, Hazel, and his twin sister Mallie Mercer, and Sarah Quiggins.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday (August 17, 2010) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Gerald Elliot will be officiating. Burial will be in the Walnut Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 1:00p.m to 9:00 p.m. Monday and from 9:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of services.
