Harold Mattingly, age 67, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Monday, (January 21, 2008) at the University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, KY.

He was born on March 21, 1940, in Breckinridge County KY, the son of Charles Robert Sr. and Mary Courtney Mattingly. He was a farmer.

He is survived by four sons, David Bishop, Harold E. and Andy Mattingly all of Leitchfield and Randy Mattingly of New Mexico, five daughters, Cindy Snyder of Breckinridge Co, Linda Rice, Connie J. Mattingly, Samantha G. Mattingly, and Robin K. Mattingly all of Leitchfield, five brothers, Thomas of Champagne, IL, Ralph C of Beaver Dam, KY, Charles R. Jr, Henry and Danny Daryl Mattingly all of Owensboro, KY, two sisters, Margie Anderson of Springfield, IL and Dorann Mattingly-Smoot of Leitchfield, 23 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Ann Robbins Mattingly and one daughter, Sherry L. Pinkston.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday (January 24, 2008) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Wayne Clemons will be officiating. Burial will be in the Holly Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m. Thursday until time of services.
