Harold Eugene Patrick, Jr., age 84, of Leitchfield, passed away Wednesday, (June 1, 2022) at Owensboro Health Twin Lakes in Leitchfield, KY.

He was born on November 17, 1937 in Brownington, Vermont, the son of the late Harold Eugene Patrick, Sr. and Olive Martin Patrick.

He was a self-employed logger who enjoyed trading vehicles. He spent his Sundays going to different vehicle dealerships and car lots to look at new model trucks.  He loved to visit with his friends and also loved to travel. He was always a hard worker. He served in the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his daughter, Danna Saltsman (Ricky) of Leitchfield; two grandchildren, Makaila and Cordell Saltsman; and two sisters, Betty Gravel of Hardwick, Vermont and Nancy Wright (Aldis) of Littleton, New Hampshire. Several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews also survive.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joanna Cook Patrick, son, Gary Gene Patrick; three brothers, Vernon, Glen and Paul Patrick and sister, Edie Stevens.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. CST Tuesday, (June 7, 2022) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Burial will be in the Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday and from 9:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of services.
