Obituary
Harold D. Smiley, age 51, of McDaniels, KY, passed away Saturday, (September 6, 2008) at his brother's home in Leitchfield, KY.
He was born on November 13, 1956, in Breckinridge County KY, the son of Isaiah D and Virginia Louise Mattingly Smiley. He was a member of the Calvert Community Church.
He is survived by his father and stepmother, Isaiah D and Lucy Smiley of Constantine, his brother and sister-in-law, Kennith and Dorothy Smiley of Leitchfield, a niece, Francis Lacefield (Jody Blan) of Leitchfield, one nephew, Kennith Smiley Jr. of Breckinridge County and several great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Smiley.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday (September 9, 2008) at the Calvert Community Church in Breckinridge Co. Bro. Joe Blanton Jr. will be officiating. Burial will be in the Calvert Community Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday and from 9:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of services.
