Obituary
Hassie J. Anderson, of Caneyville, Ky. passed away Thursday October 18, 2007 at his residence.
He was a farmer and a member of the Caneyville Church of Christ, and a Kentucky Colonel. He was born November 8, 1902 in Edmonson Co. the son of Daniel and Senora Tomes Anderson and would have been 105 on November 8, 2007.
He is survived by one son, W.D. Anderson of Bowling Green, three daughters, Ailene Day of Caneyville, Lucille Wheeler Witte of Florida and Janice Schultz of Louisville, one sister, Gladys Durbin of McDaniels, one half sister, Trilba Neel of Louisville, 9 grandchildren (including Pamela Hayes who served as caregiver), 21 great and 19 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife and three grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Saturday October 20, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. at the Big Reedy Church of Christ Cemetery with Bro. Lowell Sallee officiating.
There will be no visitation.
