Hayden Elmer Capps, age 90, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Thursday, (April 30, 2020) at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield.

He was born on September 19, 1929 in Burkesville, KY, the son of the late Jim and Florence Riley Capps.

He was a superintendent with Conagra, a Mason, and attended the Church of Joy in Leitchfield.

He is survived by his son, Roy Randall Capps (Wanda) of Louisville, KY, three step-daughters, Linda Priddy (Albert), Joyce Cash and Paula Cash, all of Louisville; four grandchildren, Brian Capps (Leslie), Randa Rodriguez (Erich), Bonya Miller Scott and Gary Miller; six step-grandchildren, Dr. Anna Lynn Priddy, Steven Priddy, Angela Priddy (Lonnie), Andy Cash (Amy), Jenna Brown (Jason), Jamie Smialek; twenty one great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; and a sister, Sylvia Riddle of Louisville. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Haycraft Cash Capps; a daughter, Shirley Cleary; two grandchildren, Darrell Miller and Timothy Capps; one great-grandchild, Hayden Miller; 11 brothers and sisters; and the mother of his children, Barbara Jean Bryson Miller.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation was chosen.
