Hayward Oller, age 60, of Elizabethtown, KY, passed away Sunday, (March 16, 2008) at the VA Hospital in Louisville, KY.
He was born on February 26, 1948, in Grayson County, KY, the son of Lawrence and Annie Duggins Oller. He was a computer technician from AT & T, a United States Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War. He attended Caneyville High School and United Electronics Trade School in Louisville, KY and was a member of the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Elizabethtown.
He is survived by his step-son, Dale Trafton of Elizabethtown, five brothers, Harry of Louisville, Denver of Elizabethtown, Ivan of Caneyville, David of Covington, GA and Kenny of Waverly Hills, GA, four sisters, Velma Wilson and Lois Childress both of Louisville, Bernice Wright of Shepherdsville, KY and Wanda Baron of Burlington, KY and fifteen nieces and nephews.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Harris Oller, and one brother Harold Oller.
Funeral services will be at 12:00 noon Tuesday (March 18, 2008) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Jim Johnson will be officiating. Burial will be in the Williams Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 1:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday and from 9:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of services.
