Helen Fulkerson, age 86, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Friday, (March 12, 2021) at Springview Health and Rehab in Leitchfield.

She was born on May 12, 1934 in Grayson County, KY, the daughter of the late Nicholas and Anna Stinnet Tilford.

She was a retired seamstress and a former aide at Springview Health and Rehab who enjoyed fishing, gardening, shopping and working in her flowers. She was a member of the Anneta United Baptist Church for more than 50 years.

She is survived by her daughter, Vickie Downs (Phil) of Leitchfield; two grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Nova Woosley of Leitchfield, KY. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Milburn, Paul and Calvin Tilford; and a sister, Irene Clemons.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, (March 17, 2021) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Rev. Ethan West will be officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday and from 9:00 a.m. Wednesday until time of services.
