Helen Minton Gallien, age 88, of Greensboro, North Carolina, passed away Monday, (October 1, 2007) in Greensboro.
She was born on March 12, 1919, in Grayson County KY, the daughter of Allie and Rose Mudd Minton. She was a retired city treasurer for the City of Romulus, Michigan, where she served on various organizations and committees and was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Romulus, where she served as the church organist.
She is survived by three daughters, Rose Keilhacker (Dick) of Loudon, TN, Brenda Whitefield (Doug) of Greensboro, North Carolina and Marsha Gilstorf (Phil) of Romulus, Michigan, one son, Louis Gallien (Lee) of Virginia Beach, Virginia, nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Graveside services will be at 12:00 noon (CDT) Friday (October 5, 2007) at the Wilson Cemetery in Caneyville, under the direction of the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield.
