Obituary
Helen Maxine Sanders, age 85, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Sunday, (June 30, 2013) at Grayson Manor Nursing Home in Leitchfield, KY.
She was born on April 22, 1928 in Edmonson Co., KY, the daughter of the late Dennie and Mildred Webb Stewart.
She was a housewife who enjoyed reading, quilting and spending time with her nieces and nephews and their children. She was a member of the South Union General Baptist Church.
She is survived by her brother; Harold Stewart and his wife Imogene of Sunfish, KY, her sisters; Jewel Whobrey, and her husband Cal E., Carolyn Jean Vincent, and her husband Kadon, both of Leitchfield, KY, as well as several nieces and nephews and their children.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Willard Sanders and an infant daughter, Frances Kay Sanders.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, (July 3, 2013) at the South Union General Baptist Church. Burial will be in the South Union Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday and from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday.
