Obituary
Helen Jackson Swift, age 85, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Wednesday, (April 8, 2015) at Grayson Manor Nursing Home in Leitchfield, KY.
She was born on January 25, 1930 in Caneyville, KY, the daughter of the late Elmer and Lizzie Meredith Jackson.
She was a housewife.
She is survived by her daughter, Jeanette Trickey (Darrell) of St. Louis, MO; a daughter-in-law, Carol Swift of Leitchfield, 3 grandchildren, Tammy Wilson (Mike), Debbie Buonocore (Bill), and Rebecca Sanchez (Donald), 5 great grandchildren, a brother, Bobby Jackson of Shepherdsville, KY; and two sisters, Elnora Woods of Georgia and Martha Hogan of Florida.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ovie Swift, a son, Edwin Swift, a grandson, Mike Swift, and 2 brothers, Warren and Louis Jackson.
Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Sunday, (April 12, 2015) at the Layman Memorial Cemetery with burial to follow.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday.
