Herbert Lee Broughton, Jr., age 73, of Falls of Rough, KY, passed away Tuesday, (April 21, 2020) at his home.

He was born on May 29, 1946 in Louisville, KY, the son of the late Herbert Lee Sr. and Eva Hornback Broughton.

A veteran of the US Army, he worked as a general laborer and enjoyed going for walks and watching TV. He was a member of the Caneyville Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Allen Broughton of Falls of Rough, two sons, Quinton Lee Broughton of Falls of Rough and Christopher Chisolm of Mount Washington, KY; seven grandchildren; two brothers, James Broughton, of Louisville, & Charles Broughton of Texas. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Elizabeth Bennett and Ginger Bernard; and one brother, Ronald Broughton.

A Private Service will be held.
