Hilma Lee King Roof, age 81, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Thursday, (November 18, 2010) at her residence in Leitchfield.

She was born on August 8, 1929, in Detroit, MI, the daughter of the late Daniel and Virgie Mae Dennison. She was a housewife.

She is survived by three sons, Kenny Roof (Rhonda) of Clarkson, Wendell and Delbert Roof (Debbie) all of Big Clifty; five daughters, Anna Campbell (Eddie) of Campbellsville, Brenda Kerr and Regina Huff both of Big Clifty, Darlene Grubbs (Brad) of Elizabethtown, and Marsha Sims of Leitchfield; two sisters, Alberta Gaither (Donald) and Opal Neff (Henry) both of Leitchfield; twenty-six grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Bro.Ernest Lee Roof, three sons, Melvin, Billy, and Charles Roof, three brothers, one sister, and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday (November 21, 2010) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Chad Sarver will be officiating. Burial will be in the Sanders Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Saturday and from 9:00 a.m. Sunday until time of services.
