Hobert Roberts, age 92, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Friday, (February 3, 2012) at his home.

He was born on May 1, 1919, in Breckinridge Co., Kentucky, the son of the late Edward Lawrence and Maggie Wheatley Roberts. He was a retired farmer and carpenter and was a member of the Madrid Pentecostal Church.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Marty and Betty Roberts of Leitchfield, three grandchildren, Danny Roberts, Karen Smith and Cathy Coleman and five great-grandchildren, Brittney and Shannon Smith, Jaelee Roberts, Benjamin and Samuel Coleman.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Rhue Roberts and a brother, Herschel Roberts.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday (February 6, 2012) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Billy Lasley and Bro. Wayne Clemons will be officiating. Burial will be in the Madrid Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday and from 9:00 a.m. Monday until time of service.
